This website is about three orphans named Violet, Klaus and Sunny. Their parents die in a fire and they are sent
to live with the horrible Count Olaf, who thinks he is the best actor in the world and forces them to do numerous disgusting
chores just because they are under his guardianship.
After their brief stay at his house, the orphans are sent to live with two kinder relatives. First Uncle Monty,
then Aunt Josephine. Uncle Monty is a snake expert and works with them in his mansion. Aunt Josephine lives on
a cliff over Lake Lachrymose, and her house teeters softly on the edge like it could fall into the lake any moment.
Count Olaf had promised the orphans that he would find them, and he carries out this promise but just can't resist hurting
their relatives in some way.
This website contains information about the numerous books written by Lemony Snicket, describing the lives
